Farmers Daughter Herbs

Rosemary sorbet Day 1
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp.chopped rosemary
2 1/2 cups water

Place the sugar, rosemary, and water into a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to disolve the sugar. When the syrup reaches the boiling point, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Let the "tea" cool to room temperature, then refrigerate overnight. In the morning, strain the syrup and discard the rosemary.

Day 2

syrup from Day 1
2 cups white wine
6 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

In a bowl, blend the syrup with the wine and lemon juice. Freeze stirring occasionally to break up the ice crystals and refreezing. Repeat until you get the consistency you want. Serve.
