Farmers Daughter Herbs

Cooked cucumbers is an elegant and surprising dish that is particularly compatible with fish. Cucumbers can be sauteed, braised, steamed or baked. As you will see, dill goes well with pickled and unpickled cucumbers!
2 medium cucumbers,
peeled, seeded and chopped
2 tbsp. butter or vegetable oil
4 tbsp. finely chopped dill
freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Saute cucumbers in butter or oil in a skillet for 2-3 minutes. Add dill to skillet.Season with pepper and serve.
