Farmers Daughter Herbs

This sauce can be used on
cold fish, crab or shrimp, or as
a fresh raw vegetable dip.
cucumber dill sauce
2 cups peeled, seeded and
chopped cucumbers
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
juice of one lemon
1/4 cup finely chopped dill
freshly ground black pepper

Mix ingredients together in a bowl and chill in refrigerator until ready to use. For a pleasant surprise, try cooking cucumbers. Saute peeled, seeded, and chopped cucumbers in butter or oil and add finely chopped dill. Season to taste with black pepper. Takes only 2-3 minutes and is compatiblewith fish.
